跨信仰领导

今天，跨文化和跨宗教的接触几乎无处不在, 各行各业的专业人士(例如.g., 医疗保健, 法律, 业务, 教育, 非政府组织, 政府服务和公共政策)开始认识到需要解决他们工作的宗教/精神层面，不仅是为了更富有同情心和更有效地服务, 同时也为建设一个更加包容和公正的社会做出贡献. 

跨信仰领导辅修课程是一门跨学科课程，为学生提供一系列能力和视角，让他们开始了解在我们这个宗教多元化的世界中，什么是利害攸关的，以及如何在他们自己的生活和他们所追求的任何职业中发挥作用.

那些具备跨信仰领导能力的人明白，宗教可以是冲突的根源，也可以是合作的邀请, 他们知道如何引导别人走向后者.

学习成果

完成本课程的学生将能够:

• IDENTITY/BIAS: Reflect on students’ own and others’ identity formation and perspective; articulate how religious and other identities and worldviews affect perceptions of issues that arise in various environments and situations; and articulate how such perceptions can result in bias.
• 沟通/对话:展示有效的沟通和对话促进技能，可用于解决宗教间冲突和促进宗教间合作, 订婚, 和理解.
• RELIGIOUS LITERACY: Demonstrate an understanding of what it means to be religiously literate; articulate ways that religions differ in thought, 实践, and organization; and articulate the meaning of “pluralism” in this context.
• LEADERSHIP:  Identify interfaith challenges and opportunities; propose inclusive methods for addressing them; and articulate how to lead implementation of those inclusive methods.
